• Able to reside in Arizona or Texas • The Senior Accountant develops and implements systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information; ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. • Assist the Controller or VP of Finance and Operations to review revenue transactions deferral allocations monthly. • Responsible for all payroll accounting transactions and accruals including reconciliations. • Ensure completeness and accuracy of commissions. • Responsible for review and reporting of sales tax including new item setup. • Create monthly reports for the VP of Finance and Operations, executive management and other stakeholders. • Maintain Fixed Asset records including monthly roll-forward, depreciation schedules, disposals, and additions. • Preserve all ROU assets and corresponding schedules. • Collaborate with the AR team to update the bad debt calculation as needed. • Reconcile and amortization prepaid accounts. • Generate and document advanced intercompany entries as needed. • Own monthly reclassification entries for long-term assets and liabilities. • Work with operations and sales as needed to ensure processes are followed and all elements are captured in the correct accounting period. • Support with month-end variance analysis and financial statement schedules. • Handle miscellaneous month-end close responsibilities and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned. • Aid with annual audit preparations. • Other ad hoc projects as deemed necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • MBA is preferable • CPA credentials • Advanced knowledge of tax laws, GAAP and IFRS • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), NetSuite, Concur and Salesforce • Superb familiarity with financial accounting statements • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
