Description

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Financial Analyst to join our captive insurance team. • The ideal candidate will support the analysis and optimization of business processes, data management, and reporting within our captive insurance operations. • This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on complex financial projects and it is essential in helping our organization make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency. • Key Responsibilities: Analyze data and processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the captive insurance framework. • Assist in the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. • Support the implementation of business solutions and process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. • Conduct quantitative research on captive insurance and financial services industry trends and regulatory environment to inform business strategies. • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including finance, underwriting, and compliance, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. • Participate in project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives related to captive insurance. • Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation for stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure data integrity, compliance with internal policies, and regulatory requirements. • Provide support in training and onboarding new team members on business processes and tools related to captive insurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or a related field. • 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the financial services industry. • Solid understanding of financial markets, financial accounting, risk management techniques, and statistics are required. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools; experience with business intelligence software is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail. • Familiarity with captive insurance concepts and regulatory requirements is preferred but not required. • A proactive attitude and a willingness to work independently and to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
