• Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. • Ro is the only company to offer nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services. • This is enabled by Ro's vertically integrated platform that helps patients achieve their goals through a convenient, end-to-end healthcare experience spanning from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. • Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients in nearly every single county in the United States, including 98% of primary care deserts. • The healthcare system today is not designed to help patients achieve their goals. • It’s designed around institutions such as hospitals and insurance companies. • A patient centric healthcare system is one that is designed around the goals a patient wants to achieve. • We’re building healthcare that puts patients in control, provides reactive and proactive care, has transparent pricing and process, is extremely effective and ridiculously convenient, and evolves over time based on patients’ goals. • Ro has been recognized as a Fortune Best Workplace in New York and Health Care for four consecutive years (2021-2024). • In 2023, Ro was also named Best Workplace for Parents for the third year in a row. • In 2022, Ro was listed as a CNBC Disruptor 50. • As the Senior Director of Clinical Product Strategy, Body (Obesity and Metabolic Health), you will be the clinical leader on a cross-functional team that builds best-in-class patient experiences, products, and services at Ro. • You’ll use your medical expertise, clinical product experience, research skills, and understanding of cardiometabolic medicine and care delivery innovation to harness the power of technology to help patients achieve their desired health goals. • Daily, you will partner closely with the Body steering committee as well as colleagues in Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to create the best, most effective, convenient, and trusted healthcare experience at scale for our patients. • You will also collaborate with stakeholders on other teams – ranging from Corporate Strategy to Quality & Safety – to push forward what it looks like to deliver high-quality care at scale within obesity, weight management and metabolic health. • You’ll also be responsible for liaising with our clinical advisory and Ro-affiliated provider groups. • You have a strong background in building digital products and services for patients and you have taken care of patients, but you're not a traditional provider. • You think outside the box. You understand the clinical and psychological aspects of patients, and you thrive in an environment where you can innovate on behalf of patients and providers. • You enjoy helping people and staying current with all the latest research and industry trends. • You embrace technology as a way to scale high-quality healthcare and to do it on the patient’s terms—where and when they need it. • You are a strong advocate for patient empowerment through education and access.

🎯 Requirements

• MD or DO plus at least 5+ years of post-graduate training direct patient care experience; residency completion required; preference given to board-certified obesity medicine specialists, endocrinologists, internal medicine, and family medicine physicians • Prior experience working with product managers and product designers required • Prior experience working with in industry, particularly in care delivery innovation or virtual care platform preferred • Strong desire to innovate and design new ways of delivering care in order to provide high-quality care at scale • Adept at mastering new systems (technology) to communicate and execute deliverables • Comfort with using data and analysis to drive decision-making and optimization of the patient experience • Strong empathy for patients and desire to build patient-centric care experiences • Strong literature search and communication skills, including writing • Familiarity with interpreting and applying medical guidelines and understanding risk management concepts • Appreciation of technology’s ability to reduce costs and increase access on a national scale • People management experience and skills
