Description

• The Solutions Architect - Data and Analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy, platforms, and architecture. • Responsible for designing and implementing robust data platforms that support Pratt and Whitney’s data strategy goals. • Guide us in harnessing the power of data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes. • Collaborate with citizen data developers in the business and analysts to ensure the data platform meets customer needs. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data platform strategy that aligns with business objectives. • Design and implement an enterprise data architecture that integrates with existing systems and supports advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives. • Collaborate with data governance leaders to develop and enforce data governance and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience in a data architecture, data engineering, or software engineering; OR an Advanced degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience. • Must be a U.S. Citizen – this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. • Strong customer focus and product management skills. • Strong understanding of the aviation industry, including key processes, challenges, and regulatory environment. • Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions. • Proficiency in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and analytics tools. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
