Description
• Represent FlightAware in cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. • Responsible for reviewing vulnerability reports, drafting an engineering plan to address them. • Translate complex cyber audit requirements into actionable plans for engineering teams. • Develop and enact resource and schedule execution plans aligned with product line manager roadmaps. • Collaborate across divisions and the enterprise, necessitating clear communication of objectives, approach, and status. • Ensure adherence to Collins process methodologies while developing commitments to meet project schedule deliverables.
Requirements
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. • Experience in project management and systems engineering, cyber security, software engineering, or similar; executing projects with Agile methodology. • Experience with independently leading and supporting technical meetings with customers, teammates, program management and leadership. • Prior experience as a software or systems engineer is a big plus!
