Description

• Conducts advanced Binding Authority Underwriting and risk assessment for both new and renewal risks • Partners with Underwriters for policy binding as per binding underwriting guidelines and procedures • Develops and implements strategic approaches to enhance the efficiency of the policy binding process • Integrates market intelligence into underwriting practices, staying ahead of industry trends and emerging risks • Provides the Binding Underwriting team with insights into market trends, client preferences and supports the underwriting team to innovate coverage solutions and options • Conducts in-depth analysis of the policy portfolio, identifies trends, opportunities for growth, presents findings to the Binding Operations leadership • Ensures proper key performance indicators (KPI’s) are defined, followed, and tracked by the management • Partners with the auditors on comprehensive quality assurance programs by conducting in-depth current state reviews • Develops mentorship and advanced training programs for Binding Operations professionals

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Insurance Industry or Binding Underwriting with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6 years and a Master’s degree • Prescribed: Minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses • Preferred: Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) (Preferred)
