Description

• Build and support software products used by the Department of Transportation • Architect, design, develop, and optimize a robust and scalable data pipeline • Provide expert-level guidance and technical leadership to the data engineering and software development teams • Explore and recommend innovative tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance data infrastructure • Analyze work and provide estimated development timelines • Document design decisions and technical details • Accept feedback and grow skillset on the job

Requirements

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related field • 8+ years of experience designing and developing solutions for large-scale data systems, services, and platforms • 5+ years of experience with SQL, database design/structures, ETL/ELT design patterns, and data mart structures • 5+ years of experience implementing modern data solutions using Microsoft Azure • 5+ years of experience with unstructured and semi-structured data • 2 Years of experience with Azure Data Lake Gen2 • 2 Years of experience with Spark SQL • 2+ years of experience with Cosmos DB • 2+ years of experience with Delta Lake House • 2+ years of experience with Azure Blob Storage • 2+ years of experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
