Description

•The Sr. Solutions Engineer is a member of the Warehouse Solutions team. •Analyze customer's inventory and shipment data, design logistics and supply-chain solutions for new and existing customers. •Produce costing models and layouts, and present the solution to internal and external customers.

Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline required •3 to 5 years of experience in data-analysis or process-engineering type fields •Must be proficient in MS Excel •Quantitative data analysis (MS Excel based) •Critical thinking: Analyze data to reach a design goal •Divergent thinking: generate solution design ideas by exploring many possible options •Presentation skills: ability to inform and persuade complex results to non-engineering teams •Skilled in personal organization and task management to meet tight deadlines •Work within a cross-functional team (engineering, operations, IT, Sales) •Must be able to use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) •Preferred familiarity with MS Access, VBA (MS Excel macros), time measurement techniques (MOST, MTM, MODAPTS, etc.) •Ability to travel: 5% to 15%
