📋 Description

• Business Development Executive • Team – Sales • Location – Cambridge, UK • Contract – Full-time, Permanent • Company Background – Sensize is on a mission to revolutionise the supply chain. • Our technology allows reusable packaging companies to continuously track and monitor their assets. • Sensize trackers gather information about location, inventory and product freshness. • Our system improves supply chain efficiency, supports sustainability efforts and promotes optimal asset utilisation. • The global asset tracking industry is experiencing strong growth. • This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Sales team. • We have a strong, world-wide existing client base, ranging from multinational corporates to one-man start-ups. • This is an opportunity to grow your knowledge rapidly and develop relationships across a diverse set of applications and geographies. • Main Responsibilities – Conduct market research to identify key potential customers and emerging applications for Sensize’s products. • Create and nurture your sales pipeline. • Use lead generation techniques to generate warm leads. • Organise and lead company demos, communicating the value proposition of Sensize’s technology. • Negotiate and close deals under guidance of senior team members, aiming for mutually beneficial partnerships. • Collaborate with marketing and customer engineering teams to create cohesive strategies and understand customer requirements. • Maintain an awareness of competition, products and market trends. • Use our CRM and marketing platform to manage all customer interactions and reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• A commercially focused attitude and keenness to work on lead generation and outreach. • Previous sales or business development experience would be ideal, particularly within a technology-focused company. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients. • Ambition to exceed sales targets and build a career in business development. • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. • Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and data analysis tools and in LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. • Experience in international business development and cross-cultural negotiations. • Experience in tech, SaaS and logistics/reusable packaging or FMCG.
