📋 Description

• Shift5 is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth by providing technical expertise and tailored solutions to US Air Force and Space Force customers. • You will be the technical lead in the sales process, collaborating with account executives and customers to showcase Shift5’s solutions. • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions using Shift5’s platform. • Deliver compelling presentations, and demos to highlight the capabilities of Shift5’s solutions. • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their technical concerns and guiding them through the adoption process. • Work with customers to map their needs to Shift5’s platform, including integration with existing cybersecurity and operational technology systems. • Assist in crafting technical proposals, RFx responses, and solution briefs that align with customer needs. • Bridge the gap between customers and internal teams, providing feedback to engineering and product management to refine Shift5’s offerings. • Educate customers and partners on Shift5’s technology through workshops, webinars, and training sessions.

🎯 Requirements

• 7-10+ years in a Sales/Solutions Engineering role supporting USAF/USSF • Experience in cybersecurity, maintenance, or OT within defense aviation/space preferred • Strong understanding of networking, security, and embedded systems • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value • Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences • Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
