• The Sales Compensation Analyst provides support to the Sales Compensation Business Partners. • This position will be located in Skillsoft’s Center of Excellence in India. • The analyst will be responsible for providing support across a wide array of sales compensation disciplines in accordance with the department’s operating model. • Preparing plan, policy and process documentation • Supporting incentive plan processing, crediting and payouts on Xactly • Creating financial, performance and payroll reports • Supporting sales modeling and analytics • Tracking, researching and resolving sales inquiries • Providing HR support and onboard new hires • Responding to audit requests • Tracking process and project execution • Reviewing data feeds to ensure thoroughness, accuracy and quality • The analyst will report directly to the Senior Manager Global Sales Compensation for performance management and development purposes. Work direction, supervision and training will be provided by Business Partners in a dotted-line reporting structure. • Analysts may be tasked with specific point responsibilities, but may be called on to provide support across the entire function
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related area • 3-5 years of relevant business experience • Knowledge of sales compensation/operations concepts and principles • Understand finance and accounting concepts • Experience with sales performance management systems such as Xactly • Analytical and reporting skills • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Ability to perform in a matrixed environment • Action orientation • Customer focused • Attention to detail • Analytical • Thrive in ambiguity • Travel to the US for training and development (rarely) • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • High level of accuracy and precision required
