• Responsible for direct sales of Smiths Interconnect’s Semiconductor and Test products to an assigned set of existing and prospective customers. • Manage client relationships within the region/area of business. • The Account Manager will work closely with the Field Application Engineering and Customer Service teams. • Develop and deliver the regional sales growth plan by expanding business with existing accounts and prospecting. • Identify customer needs and work with Marketing to drive new product roadmap. • Prepare regional revenue forecasts and support Sales Director Semi with budget preparation and planning. • Promote and sell the products and capabilities of Smiths Interconnect in the region. • Develop high levels of customer intimacy.
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or four-year technical degree • Experience in the Interconnect industry strongly preferred • Minimum of 5 years direct field sales experience • Ability to travel up to 50% (when restrictions are lifted) • US Citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliance) for necessary accounts • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in verbal and written form using the English language. • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear. • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
