Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Representative to join our dynamic team. • In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial aspects of healthcare billing and reimbursement, ensuring timely and accurate payments from payers and patients. • Process claims accurately and promptly to insurance carriers and patients. • Monitor, reconcile, and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely payments. • Research and resolve claim rejections or denials, submitting appeals as necessary. • Interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or payment delays. • Generate and review accounts receivable reports to track outstanding balances and identify trends. • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, payer requirements, and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in healthcare accounts receivable, medical billing, or a related field. • Strong understanding of insurance billing, claims processes, and denial resolution. • Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. • Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
