• Proactively manage and optimize surplus inventory at Spellman • Reduce surplus inventory by at least 25% yearly • Analyze and mitigate project risks • Manage excess inventory for maximum value and compliance • Implement strategies for surplus inventory disposal • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align inventory management • Lead negotiations with suppliers for surplus items • Drive reduction of holding costs and enhance inventory turnover • Establish standard operating procedures for inventory management • Champion continuous improvement using technology and data analytics

Requirements

• BS degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field • Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in supply chain management or related field • Exceptional analytical abilities for interpreting complex data • Expertise in advanced inventory management software and ERP systems • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and mentoring experience • Experience in cross-functional collaboration • Superior organizational and time management skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time • Experience in complex global supply chain environment • Advanced problem-solving skills
