📋 Description

• Driving is just the beginning of this position. • In this role, you'll be transporting and operating a one-of-a-kind mobile museum across the state of Virginia. • The purpose of this tour is to commemorate Virginia’s role in the 250th anniversary of American independence by educating Virginians about their history and civic duty and sharing diverse narratives that capture Virginia’s complete story and role in shaping the nation. • You'll be; Safely driving a Class A Vehicle, Setting the stage for an awesome brand experience by preparing this mobile exhibit (set up and tear down), Staying onsite for technical support, Always following safety guidelines, Having fun in the process. • But, a lot goes on behind the scenes to achieve this... • We'll train you to set up this custom-expandable trailer and to operate all of the various components. • You'll travel the state and specific schedules will vary from week to week. • As a Class A CDL holder, you will safely drive the event Tractor/Trailer to each event site to set up for the day. • Execute the day's event, and pack up for the next day's event in partnership with another tour operator. • You'll ensure the event trailer and all exhibits are clean, safe, and show-ready. • Tear down the trailer and pack exhibits each day at the end of the event. • Full training will be provided, including safe operation of the event trailer, operation of all technology aboard the trailer, ELDs, and more.

🎯 Requirements

• Leadership, Integrity, and Positive Energy • Ideally, candidates will live in the state of Virginia • Strong written and verbal communication skills • A valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT Medical Certificate is required • 2 Years of Class A driving experience with 53ft trailers, preferred • Experience with moving and setting up custom-expandable event trailers, strongly preferred • Strong client service skills and a desire to help our clients achieve their goals • Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and technology problems with SPEVCO’s expert support • Ability to self-manage, and work independently and as part of a team for long periods of time • Computer skills – Ability to use a tablet computer (Android-based), email, MS Suite, various Web-Based applications, ELDs, etc • Willingness to maintain a "show-ready" clean and safe vehicle and exhibit • Strong safety mindset and desire to be part of, and promote our safety culture • Must be the safest of drivers over the road • Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations • Required to frequently lift and move 50-100 pounds • Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, lift, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
