• The VP of Development will lead the development and QA teams at the company. • This individual will partner with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in delivering valued solutions for a targeted industry and customers. • An ideal candidate is a proven technology leader with a track record of building highly scalable, 24/7 available web applications and services. • The successful candidate will be passionate about building native and web applications as well as delivering highly scalable and highly available web services that provide the most value for the market and customers. • Design and scale a development organization to be highly productive and scalable, enhancing team efficiency and adaptability. • Build and drive highly productive and scalable DevOps operations to enhance software deployment and operations. • Develop and implement a robust system for tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance accountability across the organization. • Implement diverse delivery methodologies to enhance product delivery efficiency, ensuring timely and cost-effective results. • Align resources, commitments, and stakeholder expectations efficiently to deliver high-value project outputs and solution. • Extreme ownership: Encapsulates taking full responsibility for one’s actions and their outcomes, emphasizing accountability and learning from experiences. • Analytically savvy & data driven: Proficiency in utilizing data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive business strategies. • QA automation: Implements QA automation to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. • Agile methodology/Scrum: Implements Agile and Scrum methodologies to enhance project adaptability and response. • DevOps: Implements DevOps practices to enhance team collaboration and software delivery efficiency. • Disciplined Execution: Detail-oriented and organized, this leader prioritizes effectively, excels at time management, and anticipates well in decision making.
