Description

• As an Audit Manager, Government Contract within our Assurance team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the audit engagements related to government contracts and providing assurance services to our clients. • This role needs a strong understanding of government regulations, compliance requirements, and auditing standards, along with excellent communication and leadership skills. • The Audit Manager will lead a team of auditors and work closely with clients to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and compliance with government contract terms.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in public accounting • Bachelor's degree in accounting • CPA or EA is strongly preferred • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 (Contract Cost Principles and Procedures) and the AASHTO Audit Guide • Experience working with State Departments of Transportation is strongly preferred • Experience within Finance/Accounting departments at Engineering or Architecture Firms or a Federal Agency (such as the DCAA or GSA) is strongly preferred • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Proven ability to lead and develop staff • External audit experience
