• Manage multiple accounts in a relatively large territory at various stages of the cycle from prospecting through value delivery • Manage accounts that are already engaged with the Company, maximizing value from and for them • Introduce the Company’s technology to relevant accounts • Must be able to evangelize a relatively unknown technology to result in adoption by pharma at all levels of the client organization • Must be able to communicate technical data and information, both to and from accounts • Guide customers through the deal process, from initial contact through value delivery including agreements that require data sharing resulting in content generation for the Company • Assist with preparation of sales materials and collateral
• Bachelor’s Degree required in the Life Sciences or related field; MBA, MS or PhD is a plus • A demonstrated successful track record in pitching and completing deals with pharma and academia • Knowledge of high parameters flow cytometry, imaging and/or digital pathology technologies, market dynamics and value propositions. • Experience doing deals focused on a technology, preferably a platform technology, with multiple applications in pharma and other life sciences settings • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical life cycle – from drug discovery through drug development, and understanding of pain points such that they can be addressed with an applicable technology • Must have demonstrated ability to manage client engagements, at all levels, to ensure delivery of value, and to proliferate use of a technology deeply and broadly throughout accounts • Experience managing negotiations and communications on multiple contracts simultaneously or interfacing with highly matrixed multi-disciplinary teams to complete contract terms • Ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment • Experience presenting at the higher levels of large pharma preferred (e.g. Senior Director, VP, SVP, C-level) and academia (Department Heads, Deans, Chancellors) • Up to 50% travel to forge and maintain alliances; occasional international travel may be required
