Description

• As a Director of Channel Marketing, you’ll be part of our Outdoor team working as a remote employee • Work with commercial and cross-functional partners to develop and execute the IR channel Dealer Growth Program, Promotional strategies, fleet and bid programs, and seasonal execution plans for our dealer sales force across a diverse base of customers • Lead the Independent Retail Channel team, with a focus on developing both business, functional, and leadership capabilities across all levels • Define and lead the execution of channel strategies across the dealer customer base to maximize visibility and placement of Cub Cadet, Hustler, and DEWALT brands while improving customer experience • Guide cross-functional team through customer meeting preparation, with a focus on presenting new products, merchandising, and promotional strategies to dealers and sales force and successfully executing market communication plans and new product launches • Analyze and track POS, floorplan inventory, market share trends, and competitive insights to deliver revenue and profit growth plans; Track program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements, provide updates to leadership as required • Participate and provide value-added input for monthly Integrated Business Planning cycle and financial forecast review meetings • Work closely with the Sales and Finance teams to manage price lists - maximizing sales and profitability via mix management and pricing actions • Make sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines, driven by a holistic understanding of the channel P&L • Assist Category Management teams in analyzing Dealer – Specific SKU portfolios in Pro products and parts to improve SKU efficiency and portfolio optimization • Up to 20% travel required

Requirements

• A minimum of 8+ years of Product, Sales, Finance and/or Marketing experience with a record of demonstrated achievement in sales growth and margin accretion • Previous Channel Marketing Experience strongly preferred • Project management, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success communicating effectively with all levels of the business • Advanced analytical skills with strong understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc • Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement • Passion for people and team leadership and development; experience effectively leading teams either formally or informally • Experience navigating a complex organization and changing priorities and while exercising attention to detail; proven ability to manage deadlines and maintain focus on high-impact work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite and other ERP Systems (SAP, BW, Salesforce, etc)
