Investor Relations Director: Capital Raising - EIS Funds • Permanent and contract considered • This role is required to drive the capital raising for new tax efficient funds being raised by Sustainable Ventures. • We’re an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to building a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive environment, where everyone can thrive and be their authentic selves at work. • We're seeking an Investor Relations Director, with experience of raising SEIS and EIS funds, to join our team and play a critical role in securing investment into our new funds. • This will be our 8th fund, and as such we have an existing base of investors that we hope can be encouraged to invest again, given our investment performance to date. • We are now seeking dedicated support to help manage and grow this investor base of High-Net Worth individuals and maximise capital raising efforts. • Your key responsibilities: • Developing and executing fundraising strategies targeted at high net worth (HNW) and ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals and families. • Leveraging your extensive network to identify potential investors, and cultivate long-lasting relationships. • Developing detailed and compelling investment memorandums and investor marketing materials to present to potential investors, outlining the value propositions of our SEIS and EIS funds. • Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of tax-efficient investments, to provide tailored investment solutions that align with clients' financial goals. • Collaborating closely with our investment team to translate client needs into investment opportunities that match our portfolio's objectives. • Leading investor presentations, negotiations, and closing deals while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and client satisfaction. • Staying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to offer cutting-edge insights to our clients.

Requirements

Demonstrated passion for sustainability and climate tech enterprise. • Proven track record in raising SEIS and/ or EIS funds from UK investors. • Experience of working in a regulated environment and a comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements for retail investment. • Strong understanding of the early-stage investment fundraising environment. • Results driven mindset, that can be clearly evidenced through your track record. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong network of UK HNW and UHNW investors. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Qualification in corporate finance or sustainable investment such as the CFA ESG Investing Certificate (Desirable) • Background/interest in climate science or environmental studies. (Desirable) • Track record in successful fundraising in climate tech. (Desirable)
