β’ Monitor compliance with ECOA requirements β’ Ensure timely notification of loan status β’ Focus on ECOA and HMDA compliance β’ Collaborate with branches for correct ECOA status β’ Review and maintain loan records for correct ECOA notification β’ Serve as point of contact for ECOA and HMDA data collection β’ Monitor, test, and report on ECOA and HMDA programs β’ Run daily reports and provide updates to Compliance Manager
β’ High School Diploma or equivalency required. β’ Minimum of three (3) years experience in the mortgage industry with a focus on compliance. β’ Working knowledge of compliance regulations, specifically ECOA, HMDA, and other regulatory requirements related to consumer protection laws. β’ Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem solving skills. β’ Strong analytical and organizational skills to perform multiple work assignments. β’ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. β’ Excellent and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. β’ Proficient computer and accurate keyboard skills in utilizing computer applications such as MS Word and Excel. β’ Working knowledge of general office equipment such as phone system, copier, scanner, and the like. β’ Able to work flexible hours which may include early mornings, late evenings, or weekends. β’ Able to adhere to various federal/state and GSE regulations related to the compliance functions of residential lending. β’ Able to sit for long periods of time performing sedentary activities. β’ Able to lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
