β€’ Company: Payroll Vault β€’ Location: Remote β€’ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8AM - 4 PM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) β€’ Rate ($): $8-$10 per hour β€’ Position Type: Full-Time β€’ Overview: The Payroll Processor at Payroll Vault is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for clients using iSolved software. This role requires interaction with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. The Payroll Processor will play a crucial role in improving client retention and satisfaction through efficient payroll administration and support. β€’ Key Responsibilities: β€’ Payroll Processing & Administration: β€’ Collect, compile, and enter payroll data. β€’ Review and verify source documents. β€’ Calculate and review payroll deductions. β€’ Process payroll and issue statements of earnings and deductions. β€’ Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors. β€’ Update payroll records, including changes to insurance coverage, loan payments, salary increases, new employees, terminations, transfers, and promotions. β€’ Prepare and print payroll reports detailing earnings, hours worked, taxes, insurance, and leave. β€’ Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive payroll records. β€’ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and prepare tax payments. β€’ Submit W-2 and W-3 forms annually by the required deadlines. β€’ Client Interaction: β€’ Participate in client meetings via phone or in-person as needed. β€’ Provide accurate payroll information in response to client inquiries. β€’ Address payroll-related concerns promptly and professionally. β€’ Develop relationships with clients to support customer retention and satisfaction. β€’ Ensure high service value through effective communication both verbally and in writing. β€’ Strategic & Analytical Thinking: β€’ Analyze payroll data and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. β€’ Identify and address client needs related to payroll processing and reporting. β€’ Stay updated on changes to federal, state, and local payroll laws and best practices. β€’ Daily Activities: β€’ Process and verify payroll data for accuracy. β€’ Issue payroll reports and earnings statements. β€’ Investigate payroll discrepancies and take corrective actions. β€’ Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with relevant regulations. β€’ Maintain and update payroll records for all employees. β€’ Address client payroll-related concerns and provide solutions. β€’ Prepare documentation for W-2 and W-3 submissions annually.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ High School Diploma or equivalent. β€’ Experience in payroll processing. β€’ Strong data entry and numerical skills. β€’ Knowledge of payroll software (iSolved is preferred; experience with QB, ADP, or similar software is an asset). β€’ Familiarity with federal and state payroll regulations. β€’ Basic understanding of accounting principles. β€’ Strong verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. β€’ Ability to plan, organize, and manage time effectively. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills. β€’ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. β€’ Customer service-oriented with the ability to work in a team. β€’ Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Highly organized and efficient with the ability to multitask. β€’ Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. β€’ Willingness to engage in client communications both verbally and in writing. β€’ Positive, proactive attitude toward work and problem-solving. β€’ Shyness about verbal or written communications with clients. β€’ Difficulty with mathematical calculations. β€’ Poor time management or inability to meet deadlines.
