• The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for exploring evolving dynamic business models in the Energy Storage Utility-Scale market. • Responsible for developing and executing new projects and accounts with EPC companies, Developers and IPPs in the Renewable market. • Focus on identifying and attracting new opportunities and/or projects to increase the customer share for TE Energy and driving the project pipeline. • Key areas include Market Analysis, Customer Insights, Growth Strategy, Internal Communication, and Key Markets.
• University degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. • 5-8+ years in sales management or business development. • Experience with Utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ideally as a product or project manager. • Skilled at finding and pursuing new business opportunities and building strong executive relationships. • Good understanding of BESS products and technologies, and the relevant market. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license required. • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages (German or Italian) are a plus. • Proficient with sales tools (e.g., SalesForce) and MS Office. • Comfortable working in complex, ambiguous situations and across different locations. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
