β€’ TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. β€’ They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets. β€’ The Global Product Manager will be responsible for high-speed backplane connector products in the Converged Data Solutions product team. β€’ Global Product Managers act as "mini" GMs, driving the overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to achieve revenue and gross margin targets that enable the product line's long-term competitiveness and success. β€’ This individual will develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities. β€’ This includes identifying growth opportunities within vital accounts and developing relationships with emerging customers and market segments. β€’ This role requires strong strategic thinking, experience working across regions, and a proactive, solid work ethic. β€’ It must also collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to gain alignment and drive the successful execution of the product roadmaps.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of product management, sales, business development, or other relevant experience β€’ 4-year technical or business degree required β€’ Highspeed interconnect product or industry experience desired β€’ Knowledge of highspeed interconnect signal integrity, and system architecture is preferred β€’ Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferred β€’ Strong business acumen with an ability to understand technically complex concepts β€’ Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of product strategies and relevant business plans with the ability to execute β€’ Proven ability to multi-task and drive results in a dynamic, high paced environment β€’ Vital interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills β€’ Ability to influence cross-functional teams both internally and externally β€’ Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to foster understanding and acknowledgment of critical information both up and down the organization
