Description

• Collaborate with internal teams to create assessment resources • Serve as a consultant to districts implementing IXL’s assessments • Support internal teams in deepening their knowledge of assessments and data • Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to customers to drive customer engagement and usage of IXL • Travel domestically to deliver professional development and meet with district leaders – up to 40% possible travel • Use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps • Support district and state-level sales opportunities as needed

Requirements

• BA/BS degree • Experience as a Director of Assessment, or comparable role, at the district or state level • Expertise in educational assessments, including diagnostics, benchmarks, universal screeners, and common assessments • Experience implementing a variety of assessments at the district, county, or state level • Demonstrated passion and expertise in analyzing data, interpreting insights, and developing strategic plans to drive outcomes • Educational professional development experience • Exceptional presentation skills • Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude • Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology • Strategic thinker and problem-solver • Must live close to a major airport
