• IXL Learning, a leading edtech company, seeks an English language support specialist • Collaborate with math curriculum designers to support multilingual learners' language development • This is a remote 1099 consulting role for 6 months with possible extension • Review math lesson plans and identify strategies to support language development • Write content for teachers describing how to apply those strategies • Collaborate with designers to meet project deadlines
🎯 Requirements
• BA/BS in education or a related field required • Certification or extensive experience in English language acquisition required • Strong knowledge of K–5 mathematics required • Excellent writing and grammar skills • The ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects • Prior experience developing K–5 math curricula is a plus
