Global Payroll β’ Employer of Record
β’ This role is key to supporting our International payroll operation, allowing us to enhance our service level and expertise to our clients. β’ Your responsibilities will have a strong focus on managing payroll processes in Germany alongside supporting our international payroll operations. β’ The role supports processes across Finance, Data, Legal and Payroll. β’ Weβre looking for someone who can maintain the highest quality of support we provide our clients. β’ You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our mission to create equal career opportunities for global talent. β’ Coordinate and manage payroll operations with a primary focus within Germany including support with international payroll, payments preparation, expenses management and invoicing. β’ Build out and improve our existing payroll service within Germany. β’ Manage and process international payroll for our clients' employees. β’ Support the Finance team to prepare and create payroll reports. β’ Collaborate with the legal team/entities to ensure compliance with regulations and policies are met. β’ Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. β’ Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy across functions. β’ Document existing processes and ensure they are regularly updated to maintain clarity and consistency. β’ Conduct research and analyse data to support decision-making processes. β’ Respond to employee and client inquiries related to HR, Finance, Legal, and Payroll functions. β’ Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
β’ Proven experience in end to end Payroll Operations within Germany is required (ideally you will have worked within a payroll practice, supporting multiple clients). β’ Strong understanding of German payroll, financial and taxation processes and principles is essential. β’ Youβre data savvy with proven experience using Excel/google sheets to create spreadsheets and custom reports. β’ Experience in setting up local payroll software is desirable (DATEV etc). β’ Excellent organisational and time-management skills. β’ Strong attention to detail, results driven with a can-do attitude. β’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. β’ Youβre analytical, structured and possess strong problem solving capabilities. β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). β’ Familiarity with HR, Payroll and accounting software would be desirable but not essential. β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. β’ An added bonus if you have experience in processing other Global payrolls. β’ You are in command of a European language and completely fluent in English. Our desirable native preference for this role would be German.
