• Manage payroll processes in Germany and support international payroll operations • Coordinate payroll operations with a focus on Germany and international payroll • Improve existing payroll service within Germany • Prepare payroll reports and support Finance team • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies • Provide administrative support to various departments • Develop process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Proven experience in Payroll Operations within Germany required • Strong understanding of German payroll, financial and taxation processes essential • Data savvy with experience using Excel/google sheets for reports • Experience in setting up local payroll software desirable (DATEV etc) • Excellent organisational and time-management skills • Strong attention to detail and results-driven • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Analytical, structured, with strong problem-solving capabilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Familiarity with HR, Payroll and accounting software desirable but not essential • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Fluent in English; command of a European language is a plus, preferably German • Experience in processing other European payrolls is an added bonus
