Description

• Oversee timely and precise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure the general ledger's accuracy and completeness. • Ensure all transactions are classified and recorded in accordance with US GAAP. • Prepare and review financial statements and reports, guaranteeing their accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. • Oversee the revenue recognition processes specific to SaaS, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. • Contribute to the definition and implementation of scalable accounting processes that enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s growth trajectory. • Evaluate current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish adaptable best practices. • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments to ensure effective collaboration. • Align financial strategies with organizational goals and provide valuable financial insights that empower data-driven decision-making. • Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to deliver in-depth financial analyses that support the development of forecasts and budgets, driving strategic planning efforts. • Lead and mentor the accounting staff, promoting high performance and encouraging professional growth. • Serve as a player-coach, actively engaging in detailed tasks while also guiding the team. • Manage external audits by ensuring timely responses to auditor inquiries and facilitating a smooth audit process. • Prepare necessary documentation and support to meet compliance requirements. • Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Execute additional tasks as required to support business decisions and operational needs, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to the dynamic demands of the business.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting manager (or equivalent) role, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. • CPA or CA designation is required; experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP) and financial reporting standards. • Experience with accounting software, specifically Salesforce and Sage Intacct, is preferred. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis.
