📋 Description

• The Staff Solutions Architect is Temporal’s primary customer-facing technical leader within the Growth team, focusing on the West region. • Work directly with prospects and customers, guiding them in understanding the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and showcasing the technical advantages of our cloud service. • Vital in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers.

🎯 Requirements

• Reside within Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area, or Los Angeles. • Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing. • Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices. • Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP. • Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations. • Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures. • Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services. • Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.
