📋 Description
• At Terraformation, we’re on a mission to restore native forests and tackle climate change at scale. • As our Social Impact Manager, you’ll ensure that local communities are at the heart of our reforestation efforts, working alongside partners to build fair, sustainable, and impactful projects. • Your role will shape how we engage communities, uphold international social standards, and create lasting benefits for those who steward our forests. • Remote; United States preferred (UTC +/-6)
🎯 Requirements
• 8+ years of experience in social impact management, community engagement, or related fields. • Expertise in FPIC and feedback and grievance redress processes, social impact assessments, and certification frameworks (CCB, Verra, Gold Standard). • Strong analytical skills and experience developing social impact monitoring plans. • Experience managing international teams and working across diverse cultural contexts. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders. • Fluency in English (Spanish or French preferred). • Willingness to travel to remote project sites (up to 25%).
