โ€ข Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with colleagues on the creative team to develop innovative ideas around major moments throughout the sports calendar across multiple platforms that will appeal to a wide audience and have commercial potential. โ€ข Collaborate with our Business Development and Sales teams on key revenue-driving initiatives. โ€ข Write and edit briefs that communicate ideas clearly to all stakeholders. โ€ข Work closely with program managers to ensure seamless execution of sponsored campaigns. โ€ข Coordinate across multiple teams on launches of major new content initiatives, such as podcasts, newsletters and verticals. โ€ข Communicate campaign and key launch results to relevant stakeholders. โ€ข Liaise with our Analytics teams to help with planning and implementation of content strategy. โ€ข Assist leadership in developing and maintaining sound processes and thorough documentation. โ€ข Maintain strong relationships across the entire business to ensure smooth processes. โ€ข Lead effective and efficient meetings with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

โ€ข 2+ years of digital operations, editorial, partnerships or product experience, ideally in media or agency environment. โ€ข Proficient with organizational tools such as Google Sheets, Airtable and Smartsheet. โ€ข Experience working cross-functionally in complex business environments. โ€ข Deep sports knowledge. โ€ข Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. โ€ข A passion and understanding of The Athletic and our content. โ€ข Critical thinker about content promotion, partnerships and product. โ€ข Creative, strategic mindset in which no task is too big or small. โ€ข This role is remotely based in the US or Canada only.
