β€’ Provides medical oversight of clinical trials to ensure compliance with SOPs, client directives, good clinical practice, and regulatory requirements. β€’ Attends and presents at investigator and sponsor meetings, providing medical consultation to clients, investigators and project team members. β€’ Supports business development activities and medical review for clinical trial adverse events and safety reports. β€’ Manages medical aspects of contracted tasks across the pharmaceutical product life-cycle. β€’ Ensures tasks delegated to medical monitoring are properly executed in accordance with regulations and guidelines.

Requirements

β€’ MD or equivalent required. β€’ Active medical licensure preferred. β€’ At least one of the following: β€’ Clinical experience in treating patients in the specialty or sub-specialty associated with the applicant's training (comparable to 2 years). β€’ Suitable clinical trial experience in a Contract Research Organization, pharmaceutical company or as a principal investigator (comparable to 1-2 years) in the industry. β€’ Direct experience in safety/Pharmacovigilance (comparable to 2 years). β€’ Qualified candidates should have a background as a Nephrologist.
