• Responsible for leading the sales team in the genetic analysis space • Implement commercial strategies to achieve the annual operating plan • Ensure a driven focus on the customer • Maintain robust monthly, quarterly and long-term forecasting processes • Provide feedback of field and market intelligence • Lead the sales team to compete and grow the business • Control expenses against pre-established budget • Attract, develop, and retain sales reps • Communicate openly, develop the team, and drive performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, biochemistry, or related field • Master’s degree preferred • Extensive knowledge of Life Science Research and Clinical Markets (PCR/qPCR/dPCR, Capillary Electrophoresis, Next Generation Sequencing and Microarrays) is highly desirable • 7+ years of effective sales representative experience • Experience managing accounts, sales and client relationships • Experience leading sales teams (strongly preferred) • Setting sales strategies and coaching for selling efficiency • Analyzing industry & markets • Planning business, forecasting, and budgeting resources • Capital equipment experience • Understanding of the academic, industrial and government life sciences environment
