• When you join us at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll be part of an experienced, driven team that shares your passion for exploration and discovery. • Location: This position covers a district that includes the West Coast (CA, AZ, OR, WA, NV, NM) • The Genetic Testing Solution District Manager will lead the sales team and driving business in the genetic testing space (quantitative PCR and Sanger Sequencing/Fragment Analysis) throughout the clinical market. • They will implement commercial strategies to achieve the annual operating plan. • They will develop, motivate, and retain a dedicated team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree: Biology, Molecular Biology, biochemistry, or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience • Master’s degree preferred • Extensive knowledge of and Clinical Markets (PCR/qPCR, Capillary Electrophoresis and Microarrays) is highly desirable • 7+ years of effective sales representative experience • Experience managing accounts, sales and client relationships with a rack record of consistent sales achievement • Experience leading sales teams (strongly preferred) • Setting sales strategies and coaching for selling efficiency • Analyzing industry & markets • Planning business, forecasting, and budgeting resources • Capital equipment experience • Understanding of the clinical market and regulations
