• Position Summary: As a Business Development Executive for GMP Labs at PPD, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors • Key Responsibilities: 1) Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities for GMP lab services across the pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare industries 2) Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients 3) Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed territory sales targets 4) Stay updated on market trends, client needs, and competitor activity 5) Partner with internal teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions 6) Deliver presentations to prospective clients 7) Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts 8) Attend industry conferences and events to represent PPD

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, business, or related field (MBA preferred) • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or contract research organization (CRO) industries, with a strong focus on GMP lab services • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GMP regulations, analytical laboratory services, and the drug development lifecycle • Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build long-term client relationships • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events • Preferred Qualifications: Established network within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical service environment
