Description

• Provides systems analysis, design, development, testing and support on highly complex technical information system components and database administration. • Strong logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Experience of 5 to 8 years in Talend and Snowflake Administration. • Good hands-on Talend Administration managing remote engines, debugging and fixing Java/JVM issues, perform upgrades, Talend Management Console. • Good hands-on Snowflake Administration in managing user accounts, roles, and access privileges to ensure secure and appropriate access to the database. • Coordinates with Operations staff on deployment of applications. • Collaborates with other IT groups to include support and deployment of product. • Works with Principal Architect and business partners to analyse and address support requests. • Ensures all activities are performed with quality and compliance. • Ability to troubleshoot the production issues. • Have designed and developed ETL work packages on at least one data warehouse project using Talend/any other ETL tool. • Expertise in building and optimizing cloud data pipelines, architectures and data sets. • Strong logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills. • A good understanding of the concepts and best practices of data warehouse ETL design. • Ability to follow functional ETL specifications and challenge business logic and schema design where appropriate, as well as manage their time effectively. • Must Have skills: Talend Development & Administration. • Configuring Talend Administration Center and managing licenses, users, projects in Talend Management Console. • Migrating Projects and applying upgrades, fixes, patches and service packs to keep the Talend environment up to date. • Reporting on health and performance of the ETL environment and jobs. • Snowflake Development & Administration. • Proficient in SQL for querying and managing Snowflake databases. • Managing data storage within Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and extraction processes. • Monitoring and optimizing Snowflake credit usage to control costs without compromising performance. • Knowledge of best practices in data security, encryption, and compliance within cloud environments. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Good to have skills: Experience managing Erwin. • Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills. • Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail. • Familiarity with the following systems & skills preferred: Apache, IIS, Windows & Linux/Unix Server, Validated System Experience, Clinical Industry Knowledge, Project Management. • Strong logic, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
