β€’ Lead fundraising efforts to secure transformative philanthropic support. β€’ Develop major gift strategy to raise at least $10 million annually. β€’ Maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals. β€’ Create customized engagement and stewardship plans. β€’ Partner with senior leadership to cultivate gifts from major donors. β€’ Collaborate with communications team to develop compelling donor materials. β€’ Mentor and lead a small fundraising team. β€’ Organize intimate donor events and webinars. β€’ Ensure accurate recording of all donor information in Salesforce.

Requirements

β€’ Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising with a proven track record of securing major gifts, including gifts of 7+ figures. β€’ At least 5 years of experience leading and managing fundraising teams with a focus on major gifts. β€’ Demonstrated experience working within global organizations and managing relationships across diverse geographies. β€’ Strong expertise in philanthropic networks, particularly in the US. β€’ Proven ability to develop and implement ambitious strategies that drive significant revenue growth. β€’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft and present compelling cases for support. β€’ Exceptional storyteller. β€’ Adept at managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting ambitious goals within tight deadlines. β€’ Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for donor tracking and portfolio management. β€’ Commitment to social justice, with experience in feminist, community-centered, or social justice-oriented fundraising approaches. β€’ Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
