Description

• Lead efforts in securing transformative philanthropic support. • Maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals. • Create customized engagement strategies tailored to donor interests. • Partner with senior leadership to cultivate and solicit gifts from major donors. • Develop compelling materials that tell Thousand Currents' story to donors. • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective donors. • Mentor and coach staff to reach their potential.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising with a proven track record of securing major gifts. • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing fundraising teams. • Demonstrated experience working within global organizations and managing relationships across diverse geographies. • Strong expertise in philanthropic networks, particularly in the US. • Proven ability to develop and implement ambitious strategies that drive significant revenue growth. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Exceptional storyteller. • Adept at managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting ambitious goals. • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for donor tracking. • Commitment to social justice in fundraising approaches. • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
