Description

• Lead fundraising efforts to secure transformative philanthropic support. • Develop major gift strategy to raise at least $10 million annually. • Maintain a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals. • Create customized engagement and stewardship plans. • Partner with senior leadership to cultivate gifts from major donors. • Collaborate with communications team to develop compelling donor materials. • Mentor and lead a small fundraising team. • Organize intimate donor events and webinars. • Ensure accurate recording of all donor information in Salesforce.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in fundraising with a proven track record of securing major gifts, including gifts of 7+ figures. • At least 5 years of experience leading and managing fundraising teams with a focus on major gifts. • Demonstrated experience working within global organizations and managing relationships across diverse geographies. • Strong expertise in philanthropic networks, particularly in the US. • Proven ability to develop and implement ambitious strategies that drive significant revenue growth. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft and present compelling cases for support. • Exceptional storyteller. • Adept at managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting ambitious goals within tight deadlines. • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for donor tracking and portfolio management. • Commitment to social justice, with experience in feminist, community-centered, or social justice-oriented fundraising approaches. • Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
