Description

• Responsible for the execution and oversight of the Bank’s TPRM lifecycle requirements across the Bank’s ecosystem • Plan, direct, and lead the operations of the TPRM Program • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to internal and external stakeholders • Foster strong stakeholder relationships to enable active and collaborative working relationships • Takes a leading role in updating and maturing the TPRM policy, procedures, guidelines, templates, forms and overall governance process • Effectively communicate with Senior Managers, business leaders, internal and external support services, fintech partners, vendor owners, and outside third parties • Serve as the SME for the review of potential and established Embedded Banking partners • Provide TPRM risk mitigation strategies; advise senior management and executives in understanding and managing TPR across the bank’s ecosystem • Champion behaviors that embed a strong risk management culture across the first and second lines • Ensures adequate development of risk assessments for all new and on-going third-party relationships • Coordinates contract reviews with legal, third-party relationships, and internal vendor owners • Reviews viability of third-party services platform and makes recommendations on viable other options • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to appropriate stakeholders • Leverage data-driven insights and provide oversight and challenge on key risk indicators • Supports audit reviews, regulatory exams, and internal risk and control self-assessments

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of financial service-related experience supporting the TPRM function • Knowledge of nontraditional banking activities including fintech/embedded banking essential • In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, guidance and industry standards governing third-party relationships in the finance sector • CTPRP or similar designation preferred • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Finance, Accounting or related Business Management field • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across the organization and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate and lead others within a fast-paced environment • Strong project management skills, with proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks on an ongoing basis • Knowledge of SOC and SSAE 18 reports, user entity controls, contract language and terms, data security, disaster recovery, and insurance • Ability to develop training materials and train individuals in TPRM processes, risk assessments, etc.
