Description

• The Associate Director will contribute to all aspects of designing, preparing for, and executing summer programs with a focus on Scholar experience. • They will participate in continuous improvement efforts using internal data, relevant research, and proven practices. • Create, deploy, and monitor systems that promote an affirming, inclusive, mission-aligned environment for participants. • Collaborate to facilitate outstanding enrichment programming and ensure seasonal and year-round staff success.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of student-facing professional experience in relevant settings (preferably with high school or undergraduate students) • At least 3 years of professional experience managing complex projects • At least 3 years of professional experience leading a team or managing at least one person • Professional experience in the education, non-profit, and/or college-access space • Earned reputation as a “culture-carrier” • Ability to coordinate diverse groups of stakeholders toward a common objective in a dynamic environment • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals • Ability to balance logistical execution and nimble leadership • Strong written and oral communication skills • Experience using data to assess progress and inform decisions • Commitment to the Thrive Scholars mission and to diversity, equity, and inclusion
