Description

• Director of Capture oversees operations of capture department and manages capture team. • Focus on coordinating internal capture pursuits and leveraging data-driven insights. • Guide creation and execution of strategic capture plans to support growth objectives. • Oversee capture research, analytics, CRM pipeline administration, and reporting. • Standardize and enhance best practices and cultivate a robust capture culture. • Ensure effective team management and facilitate collaboration across internal teams. • Manage, guide, and train both direct and indirect reports. • Some travel may be required for meetings or events (estimated travel commitment is 10-15%).

Requirements

• Execution-Focused Leadership: Skilled in managing both personal and team-led capture efforts with a hands-on approach to ensure quality and timeliness. • Data and Process Management: Experienced in leveraging research and analytics to inform capture decisions and manage pipeline workflows. • Strong Communication: Effective in articulating strategies and collaborating with internal teams, including clear communication of strategic themes to proposal teams. • Results-Oriented: Prioritizes impactful results and aligns team efforts to achieve organizational goals. • Deep understanding of the SLED capture processes and demonstrated experience leading such efforts. • Federal knowledge is a plus. • Displayed capacity to excel in ambitious, fast-paced environments, effectively managing competing priorities and driving initiatives to fruition independently. • Familiarity with CRM systems for data management and reporting, and other relevant software to enhance the efficiency of the capture process. • Experience with GovWin and other government research and procurement tools. • Interact effectively with all levels of management, staff, and internal and external stakeholders. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively communicating across diverse audiences. • Strategic, quick-thinker, self-starter, proactive, responsive, and able to work independently and collaboratively. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data sets to determine trends, establish strategies, and make decisions. • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. • Ability to multitask and be strategic, creative, and innovative in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. • Proven ability to “surge” the level of effort in times of need (i.e. when the company helps its clients manage through a disaster, emergency, or other crisis). • Possess energy, passion, and desire to deliver innovative, successful solutions. • Ability to diagnose and address and/or promptly report issues needing escalation. • Ability to forecast budgets and staffing. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.).
