• Google Chrome Microsoft Edge Apple Safari Mozilla Firefox • Sr. GIS Technical Analyst • Full-time • Division: Geospatial Technology • Timmons Group is currently seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to join our GIS Services group to drive technical excellence to our clients on the West Coast. • As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of production tasks for geospatial projects and data management. • You will assist and support Project Managers and Developers in meeting project deliverable requirements and deadlines. • Our Geospatial division supports clients across the country in many industries ranging from state and local governments, utility providers, transportation, natural resources, forestry and fish and wildlife. • As an Esri Gold Partner, we are excited to be completely aligned with the cutting edge Esri technology implementations. • The ideal candidate will be inspired by data analysis and system and solution development to gain insight on innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year college in GIS, Surveying, engineering, Geography, Information Systems, or related degree, and at least eight years of related experience and/or training; • Proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Software, including Desktop, Extensions, ArcGIS Enterprise Server & Portal, with expertise in ArcGIS Server and geodatabases. • Experience managing Esri versions and versioning schemes as well as producing ArcGIS data services and managing caching for web-GIS applications • Familiarity with Esri Production Mapping suite of tools, including Data Reviewer, Workflow Manager, Task Assistant manager and optionally LRS and Esri’s Roads and Highways. • Competence in SQL Server and Oracle database development and usage, along with fluency in scripting languages like SQL, Python, ArcPy, .NET and other spatial data processing tools • Proficient in producing quality cartographic products using both Esri and TileMill, with strong oral and written communication skills
