• TKDA has established a reputation for designing complex, safe, and efficient transportation infrastructure systems. • Clients look to our Surface Transportation team for solutions to their roadway, highway and bridge projects. • Our Traffic group is growing so we are in search to hire a Professional Engineer, Civil - Traffic! • If you are looking for the opportunity to work in a challenging, creative, and highly collaborative environment where your talents and ideas will be valued, then apply on-line today to join our team! • We are seeking a professional who currently resides in the Milwaukee or Madison WI area. • This is a remote position to support ongoing projects that are focused in Minnesota. • Travel to HQ will be required for specific team meetings and projects. Travel will be kept to 10-15% in a year. • We are hoping to find a passionate Traffic Engineer who would be open to exploring opportunities for TKDA to build a portfolio of Traffic services / projects within the WI market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience. • Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain within six months of employment. • Experience or interest in projects related to design and/or plan development for roundabouts, traffic signals, construction staging, maintenance of traffic, signing, striping, and lighting. • Strong working knowledge and previous experience with CADD software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, etc.). • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills; Ability to write descriptive and technically accurate specifications and reports; Ability to participate in or lead project team meetings and client consultations.
