📋 Description

• CIQ is becoming the fastest-growing and most impactful young company for providing software infrastructure. • The Automation and Delivery Engineer will play an instrumental role in bringing CIQ’s automation infrastructure to the next level. • Work closely with CIQ’s Engineering and Operations teams to architect, implement, and maintain automation, build, and test tooling for everything from packages to full operating systems. • Additional responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on automation, contributing to architecture-level discussions, and developing proofs of concepts. • Education requires BS/BA in Computer Science or related, with 5+ years of relevant experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in automation, tooling, build-systems, Linux, containers, virtual machines, and delivering high-quality products to maximize CIQ’s capability to scale • A deep familiarity with Cloud and Cloud-Native Principles • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize cloud marketplace integrations • The ability to troubleshoot and improve applications and processes, analyze current code and industry developments to develop engineering solutions to solve problems • Proficiency in managing and maintaining compute environments, including virtualization and containerization • A friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and always striving to be better attitude • Deep-seated need to replace the world with scripts • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn
