📋 Description

• Lead efforts to deepen and strengthen Brave’s membership and supporter network. • Launch and support Brave Platforms and engage partner organizations. • Develop strategies to grow membership and boost organizational capacity. • Train, connect, and empower survivor-advocates. • Drive systemic change and serve as a focal point for trauma-informed advocacy. • Lead development of safety and well-being policies and practices throughout the movement. • Oversee collaborative advocacy strategies with Campaigns, Communications, and Policy teams. • Foster an inclusive and empathetic team culture and provide resources for safe engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in movement building, grassroots organizing, advocacy, or related fields. • Proven track record of mobilizing diverse communities, coalition building, and fostering partnerships across sectors. • Commitment to the values and mission of Together for Girls and the Brave Movement. • Demonstrated experience in program management, including designing and implementing successful movement-building initiatives. • Ability to prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and to successful completion. • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Proficient in Google Workspace and project management software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • High emotional intelligence. • Familiarity with remote-first, asynchronous work and trauma-informed practices. • Experience working in globally distributed or multicultural teams. • Passion for addressing sexual violence, gender-based violence, and/or violence against children. • Direct experience with movements to address sexual violence, gender-based violence and/or violence against children is desired. • Additional languages, especially French or Spanish, desired.
