Description

• Seeking a proactive and highly organised Area Sales Manager to join our team in Italy. • Leading sales efforts in the Waste Recycling and Sorting sector, managing large capital equipment sales. • Taking ownership of sales processes and overseeing the area's sales budget. • Managing workload and priorities to meet sales targets while collaborating with the global sales team. • Contributing to the company’s overall strategy and supporting Business Development in exploring new fields. • Participating in local and international conferences and exhibitions to represent our recycling technologies. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and alignment across the business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in waste recycling, waste processing, or related technical industries. • Proven ability to work independently with strong organisational skills to manage sales activities and key account relationships. • Experience in selling large capital equipment or managing long project sales cycles, ideally within the recycling or technical equipment sectors. • Expertise in key account management, with a focus on building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients. • Experience in international sales environments is highly valued. • Strong commercial acumen, with a customer-centric, results-driven, and entrepreneurial approach. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals and contracts. • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a similar technical field. • Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. • Willingness to travel extensively, with the position primarily based in Italy.
