Description

• Collaborate with key leaders and subject matter experts inside and outside the organization to develop and deliver high quality content for the engineering and architecture industry. • Gain a deep understanding of who our clients and prospects are, their goals, how they like to engage with content and what sources do they frequent to gather information so that we can be seen as a trusted software provider. • Build and maintain the editorial calendar that is updated each quarter. • Write high-quality articles, guides, blogs, social content, press releases, email messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports and web copy (as applicable). • Be responsible for the strategy and creation of SEO-focused, ABM-focused, and Brand-focused content. • Partner with customers, prospects, industry partners to tell their story and how they manage, grow, and run their engineering or architecture practice. • Edit content produced by freelancers, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing. • Continuously measure and improve content performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot, social media analytics, and other tools. • Push the business to adopt better content creation practices through frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels.

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to distill and present complex concepts via clear and concise copy. • Strong growth mindset/commitment to continuously improve and raise the bar of your own work. • Strong ability to work with customers, prospects, internal SMEs on partnered content. • Demonstrated experience and success with SEO tools and standard processes, using analytics to identify opportunities for improve by industry, personas, and general team KPIs. • Ability to take ownership and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism or related field. • 5-10 years of experience writing for business audiences. • 3+ years of content strategy, knowledge management, and/or editorial experience.
