📋 Description

•The Vice President of Engineering Services will lead and oversee the centralized engineering and project management operations within Trace3, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet client needs, maximize profit outcomes, and drive business success. •This strategic role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in engineering management, project delivery, and resource optimization. •The VP of Engineering Services will be responsible for developing and executing the engineering strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. •This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Trace3, including Sales, Pres-Sales Engineering, BUs, People and Org Health, Finance, and Services Operations to align engineering capabilities with services offerings. •Key responsibilities include managing engineering teams and the PMO, overseeing project lifecycles from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, maximizing project profitability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. •This role is critical to ensuring our engineering services are positioned for growth and success in a competitive market.

🎯 Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or relevant professional services management experience •Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a related IT services environment •Demonstrated success in scaling and profitably growing an IT services business •Management experience in a team-oriented workplace, outstanding interpersonal employee coaching and development skills •Proven experience in ensuring resources are allocated effectively across engagements •Successful track record of building and retaining high performing teams that are deployed effectively across business offerings •Strong influencing skills to get things done and inspire business transformation •Demonstrated success building rapport and credibility as a strategic partner vertically and horizontally across an organization •Ability to approach customer and sales requests in a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver •Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of a multi-faceted business operation •Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes •Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment •Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills with an ability to work in customer-facing environments, as well as present issues to C-Level Executives and senior leadership •Ability to travel as needed
