• Lead and provide strategic direction for the distribution of all Life products across wholesale teams • Develop and execute a plan to achieve revenue, profitability and growth • Deepen partnership with WFG to achieve joint distribution goals • Build/expand distribution relationships within Brokerage • Support TAN leadership to drive career channel growth • Lead and operate with a growth and innovation mindset • Develop client solutions providing consistency in service and support • Contribute to production goals by implementing effective sales initiatives • Directly manage Sales and Distribution Team • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and market opportunities • Promote quality in sales initiatives and relationship building • Work across departments to coordinate the sales effort
• Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent experience • 15 years of industry experience, including leadership roles within Life Distribution • In-depth knowledge of the brokerage industry and wholesale/marketing organizations • Demonstrated experience in growing retail distribution within Life, with a preference in the middle market space • Track record of successfully leading large complex sales teams • Strong communication and presentation skills • Relationship building skills and the ability to influence outcomes • High energy & enthusiasm for the Transamerica mission to be the leader in Middle Market
