Description

The Channel Director (CD) is responsible for tactically driving opportunities through the sales cycle for a named group of AVANT Trusted Advisors, while continuing to recruit in the region. • These activities are performed primarily via telephone, in-market meetings, events and email. • The CD will actively participate in coordinated sales calls with the Trusted Advisors and Suppliers. • The CD will be expected to meet or exceed target metrics. • Oversee the performance of assigned market through the performance of trusted advisors and any AVANT support staff who generate revenue for the market, while working directly with the inside channel manager and pricing analyst. • This is a full-time position.

Requirements

A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or advanced degree in related field of study preferred • 10-15 years’ experience in the IT or Telecom Channel • Direct sales experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills • Excellent ability to influence decision making at all levels of organization • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals Month over Month • Proven Management experience
