Description

• Responsible for the management and administration of major subcontracts involving Ts and Cs • Provides support to other subcontract administrators in resolving negotiations, contractual and/or financial issues • Acts as central focal point for all subcontracts related correspondence • Reports accurately and timely all subcontractor issues to management recommending solutions • Initiates discussion with subcontractor upon receipt of any correspondence that requires clarification • Distributes subcontractor inquiries and/or issues • Ensures all subcontractor issues are fully understood and communicated to the program team • Attends all subcontract/program telecoms, meetings, reviews, etc. • Provides responses to subcontractors in a timely manner • Develops Request For Proposals and assists in developing Statements of Work • Generates evaluation fact-finding results • Leads negotiation strategy development and cost/scope reduction opportunities identification • Evaluates source of supply • Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts • Manages subcontractor to ensure compliance with all subcontract requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred • 7-10 years related experience and/or training • Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project • Knowledge of FAR/ITAR • Understanding and knowledge of negotiating contractual terms and conditions of contracts • Cost/price analysis • Price rationale supporting justification • Excellent oral and written communication
